15 Days to a New Profession?

New Job in Just 15 Days? Absolutely, True!

It seems that fifteen is a fantastic number. A 30-story structure in China was completed in just 15 days; did you know that? At the age of 15, many girls in Latin American culture celebrate their passage from girlhood into womanhood with a ceremony called a quinceanera.

You say it’ll take 15 days. Really?! The subject of whether or not it is possible to become fully trained as a cosmetic laser technician in the span of two weeks is one we are regularly asked by potential students. Indeed, that is the correct response. There is only one proviso, though: not all cosmetic laser training is created equal.

Not too long ago, the danger of consumer injury, such as burns and scars, from cosmetic laser procedures was significantly higher due to the lack of applicable laws. Fortunately, state governments and regulatory bodies are increasingly establishing legislation for laser hair removal and cosmetic laser procedures today, which should help to improve the quality and safety of treatments.

We think the cosmetic laser technician will feel more assured in her abilities if she receives extensive training. Therefore, the client’s trust in the practitioner and the treatment as a whole grows.

Simply knowing how to turn on and fire a laser isn’t enough for a cosmetic laser specialist, both from a safety and customer satisfaction perspective. They must also be well-versed in laser machine maintenance, pre-and post-treatment protocols for clients, and the physics of the skin. We also believe that it is not enough to only teach students how to use cosmetic lasers safely and effectively; we feel a strong obligation to teach them about the economic side of the industry as well. Experts in the fields of dermatology, plastic surgery, and cosmetic lasers will be among our guest speakers, so students can ask them about real-world problems they may encounter in their future careers.

Graduates of our intensive 15-day program are qualified to work with lasers in any medical spa, salon, dermatologist’s office, plastic surgeon’s clinic, or other health and beauty facility. Laser hair removal, photo facial skin rejuvenation, laser acne treatments, fat reduction, cellulite reduction, radiofrequency skin tightening, tattoo removal, fractional laser wrinkle reduction, and even laser teeth whitening are all common topics covered in laser aesthetics education. Microcurrent, lam probe, micro needling, dermal infusion, vibration non-crystal advanced microderm technologies, and a laser facial peel are all part of the medical aesthetics day.
