Interviews With Recent Graduates of Medical Aesthetician Programs: What Do They Have to Say?

  • by

Some people attend medical aesthetician school because they want to change careers, while others do so in order to acquire new skills; either way, they are ECSTATIC to have taken the necessary measures to become successful in this field.

Can you believe that in only one year there were over 6 million Botox procedures performed? Or that one million laser hair removal treatments and two million dermal fillers were performed in the United States? The advent of cosmetic lasers and injectables has paved the way for quick, permanent, and undetectable outcomes with minimal to no recovery time. Many people are eager to become laser technicians since they can complete training in as little as two weeks. Everyone wants a slice of this cake, and it’s easy to see why.

I sought out real people’s opinions on their experience in medical aesthetician school since, as we all know, the internet is unflinchingly honest. Those are the actual outcomes:

@jessathomson My first day as a medical esthetician was amazing, and I really adore my new work!

@Amber Walter, I got a passing score on the #stateboard! Good job! Laser technician and medical aesthetician!

@KellyMapps Applying for a permanent laser technician position in the city! YAY #needtothinkpositive

It’s clear that everyone working in this field is enthusiastic about their work. As can be seen, there is still a need for professionals with laser technology and medical aesthetics.
