Can I become a cosmetic laser technician without a history or degree in the health or beauty industry?

A high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required of all students.
What about books?
The answer is yes, all course materials are included in the course fee. Scrubs and closed-toe shoes are the only potential extra expenses, as they are required for clinical hands-on training.
Do schools offer free health care?
In a word: yes. Our pupils have access to laser treatments for their skin, which is a huge plus.
How competitive is the job market for those skilled in cosmetic laser procedures?
Approximately $10 billion is generated annually in the cosmetic laser sector. The medical spa industry is a popular destination for cosmetic laser technicians. In the next few years, the United States will see an increase in the number of its already over 2,100 med spas. Working in laser clinics, fitness studios, dermatology offices, and medical offices are some other options.
Do you help people get jobs?
The answer is that we try to be as helpful as possible to our alums. Between two hundred and five hundred job leads are distributed each month by our Graduate Services Division. While no college or university can truly “promise” its students employment, we feel confident in saying that our reputation is on par with that of a Harvard or Stanford graduate.
